If i use a sloppy mix so a cloud floats in the water. Could this work in deep water? And if it was windy and lake had a tow would it pull the cloud away from the area? Thinking of fishing 10foot zigs in 18foot water so was wondering how long the cloud takes to sink etc?

Any ideas appricated but gonna put this into practise when it starts warming up. ;)

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

I watched the junior experts at this method down at Brasenose 1 on the Linear complex during the BYCAC final. The cloudy spod mix is only really effective when the zig is being fished within three to four foot from the surface. I was told by Callum Kletta (finished a close 2nd) that it is pointless trying it with a zig any lower because the cloud isnt strong (ie cloudy) enough at those depths and there is absolutely no guarantee that the zig bait is presented in the cloud. If there is a strong surface drag/flow then the problem is exacerbated.

I am absolutely pants with a spod and I need to get practising and I can think of no better place than Stockton, so if you see a fat bloke in a cowboy hat thrashing the water to a foam with a small spod stop me and say Hi.
