Try a trimmed down fake dog biscuit mate shaped like a chick pea. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt=":idea:" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: -->

Good idea for a pop-up unless they do sinker versions. Nice one mate. ;)

Ive been thinking about this one. You need it to sink and it needs to last indefinately. I got a packet of brown elastic bands and started to tie a couple into knots and I found that four bands tied tight together is about the size and colour of a chic pea, I made a few and stuck them in a tin of salted chic peas to soak. They dont look too bad certainly the same size and colour at least, and they sink. Have a go yourself and see what you think.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

Do not use a tied up rubber band, they will unravel and I cant be 100% sure that they will stay on a hair and we dont want them unraveling inside a fish.

Scrap that idea, sorry folks:oops:
