Tomorrow marks the start of the unofficial pike season, who else is looking to catch some big toothy beauties this winter , or are you all sticking to your guns and keeping after those carp ? I feel like Zane Lowe, who's onboard ?!

well i'm onboard at least, kicked off the season with a 6lb jack and a dead on 14lber today so as starts go i'm not off to a bad one considering my pb is only around 14lb and a few ounces.

Im fishing a 60ft deep pit so it takes longer for it to cool down so its going to be december before the pike fishing kicks off for me..

Good start JamMa. ;)
Going to be getting after the Pike and Zander this winter down the local canals and chucking in a few deadbaits in Greenhills and Mitre at Bishops Bowls as well to try and beat my Pike PB of 10lb. Not going to neglect the Carp though.

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

Either next monday or tuesday as they are my next days off work. Proberly heading to Bishops Bowls with 1 rod for Carp 1 for Pike.

Aye its stil carp fishing weather atm, I'm sat currently fishing for them or the Tench at Ryton in the sunshine its lovely.

its a crazy place if you cast in and miss the old gravel road you lead ends up back under you feet...
