What do you do first when fishing the night?
Rods out or bivvy up?
Had this question on Twitter the other day and got a few outside the box answers.
I always get the rods out first to have the rigs in the water the maximum amount of time. ;)

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

Depends what the weather is looking like... but all being well the rods go out first, followed closely by some bait and then worry about shelter.

grab a bucket and my sarneys/maccy d's or what ever and had off for a look. i think its even more crucial to try and get on them as you have far less time available to move if you get it wrong. once im happy then its rods out next.

of course if your stringing a few nights together its advisable to keep a little bait going in on a few spots in case there is nothing else to go on. in that case if i cant find them i always have a second option.

Welcome to the WBM mate and cracking 1st post cheers. :D
Find them 1st is a very under used by many Carpers but obvious. You not going to catch them if they arent in your swim.
