Will French carp take baits off the top???

Hi Everyone,

Iv never seen any take a bait off the top mate I would deffo be given it a try though as I think when you fish over the pond you adopt the big idea that they are hard fish etc fact is there no different to a puddle carp over here they eat sleep produce. I think anglers are just mind set on 3 rods 150yrds snowman a pop up and a bottom bait and that's it they only take these!!!!!! Fact is they eat flies of the top known fact so if you could induce a feedin frenzy job done
