I just bought the chub xtra-protection mat / cradle. Hoping it's going to be the best and last unhooking mat i buy really. I think when you're fishing for bigger fish having a cradle type mat is the ultimate in protection really. Had been looking at the nash carp cradle for a long time but this chub one is really well put together.
I see JRC and Vision and a couple of other brands bring out cradle type mats which I think are the future!
http://www.chubfishing.com/en-gb/produc ... on-cradle/ is a link for the chub one.
