There are some good fish in that L shaped pool ;)
Just hard to get as you are so close to them all the time as the lake is so small

Me and Craig had 9 runs in the space of 3 hours up there, Not the L shape pool but the one opposite the blue pool.

Out of them 9 runs I only had 2 fish.. Craig had none, Kept getting cut up on something.

That lake is huge though. Could do with an echo sounder to go round it to find out all the snags and holes

Hard day when i went. I fished the old scuba lake. Very very weedy. Would be good to spend day with a marker rod up there to find a clear spot or use a rake and clear one. Cant be as bad as Napton resse. ;)

Same lake as Scott was on then? Appartently its pike only fishing on there now? Could of been a mussel bed you were getting snagged on Scott. Pulled out a load from the match pool last week and there loads of shells on the bank. Fish are beautiful in those lakes and think i will be giving it another crack in the not so distant future as although we didnt have any big-uns i learnt alot the other night and know how to approach it now rather than it just being somewhere to fish after Dog Lane was full. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt="" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: -->
