Definatly pal. Never seemed to be able to catch them when actually fishing for them but hammer them out when carp fishing with boilies on the bottom.
My neighbours dad fishes up there 3 times a week in the summer and fishs a small method feeder at about 40 yards on the big lake near the bridge but with your back to the car park. Sweetcorn on the hook but couldnt tell you whats in his method mix.
Hope this helps you a bit. ;)

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

just browsed craigdavids gallery, all those carp are lovely from there. All got like a strange distinct shape to them, big old mouths that are quite prenounced. Another question, whats the situation with the pike in there? I know there used to be a few knocking about in there. I honestly think im going to have to do a bit of fishing on there this year it's almost inspiring me to carp fish.

just had a nice wet and windy walk around napton because I was bored. It always seemed bigger when i went before lol. I see what you mean about that little pond by the carpark though Gav, its alot bigger than i remember aswell and there was an empty packet of hooks by the bank next to it so i wonder if its got fish in now?

Bud fishing up there today with his neighbour. Just been up there. They have cut all the trees down from round the lake except fo the bit going through to the canal on the path between the 2 lakes. Prices for season tickets have gone up £2 from june 16th. £27 for the day tickets and £77 for the night tickets. Also there is going to be a gate put on the entrance and locked at dusk every night and those with a season ticket can buy a key for £1. Good idea i think because security is very low up there.
Few pics (sorry they are a bit dark.
