maize or sweetcorn?

Ive always bought maize ready prepared.
I know it needs 24 hours soaking then at least 30 minutes boiling.
In my opinion unless youve prebaited the fish will be a bit cagey.
They have seen sweetcorn everyday of there lives,
i think you would have to introduce a lot to get them confident.
