Click the links under the pictures to see them full size. cant get them to fit for some reason. Thanks.
Went for a 48hr session to rugby this weekend with medley, doogan and a lad not on this forum (but soon will be) Ben.
We got there about 12 on Friday and drew our pegs in a unique style. We asked the bailiffs dad to point and shout numbers one - four at us. Doogan was peg one, ben peg two, medley peg three and me on peg four.
After taking a whilst to set up the bivvys and tie the rigs and rods up it was about two when the rods were in and the first Carling of the day was opened. All we could do now was wait.
Managed to get a few photos of the swim/peg.

It was a very slow afternoon/evening with only a few liners. And then at half 12 my left hand rod in the margins under a willow went screaming off! puling my pod down. I pulled my rod up expecting the fish of a lifetime to be on. As i began to reel it was obvious this fish was small, but it was more then welcome on the bank. It was a common weighing about a pound. the bailiff didn't know there where any small carp in the lake so we had the honour of naming it gary
The next day was slow again with improving fishing weather conditions though. the only runs we had during the day were down to under cooked sausages the night before!
Then at five after some rig tweekage and a recast of both rods my left one screamed off again. This fish felt much better. After a 5-10 fight i landed the 21lb 12oz beauty. Shes called peaches and is a stunning example of spring pools fish.

At half two in this morning i also had this common weighing 17 and a half pounds. The bailiff couldn't remember this fishes name, So until were corrected this is Barlow.

A quality weekend and will be booking up again in the next few weeks. Big thanks to Steve the bailiff and Medley for sharing some wisdom. Unfortunately no one else caught. But that just means we all have to go again
