todays catch

not a great day windy unable to use my pole so went on the feeder and had a 9lb mirror so the day ended ok of to drayton leisure tomorrow hope to do better as it my local lake

Nice one mate. Is Drayton Leisure the lake close to Drayton Resse and if so is it day ticket and start a topic on it in UK Venues cause theres not 1 on the site.

not sure where drayton ress is but where i go is (drayton leisure ) is a 9 hole golf with a lake for day ticket fishing some big carp upto 15lb plenty upto 5lb only £5.00 p.s had about 10 carp today biggest 5 lb so not a bad day

Yeah its the lake im thinking of. Nice one for catching a few carp in very windy conditions again today.

Dunno if u still interested in Drayton leisure but its on edge of Banbury, on the Warwick Rd,its also a golf club so watch out for the balls plenty of smaller carp to be had, easy days fishing mate

Not about Drayton but a local lake to me well worth a trip
Buzzard valley I done a few hours on the fly lake and had a fish my pal fished a course lake and had a barble around 6lb
