Went up the Lias yesterday for a fish with spoony who is on holiday and wanted to give it ago. He had 5 mirrors upto 9lb, i had 8 mirrors upto 12lb 8oz off peg 44. BE WARNED that peg is very deseving, Lost 3 set ups when bringing back in for a re chuck as the reed roots are everywhere. We had another 20 runs that resulted in mostly being weeded by the carp or hook pulled including spoony who had a decent double at the net before the hook pulled. He was gutted but hes off next week so we gonna give it another go or try Clattercote for a change of scenery. Had 4 other people fishing the next 4 pegs down from 40-43 and they managed 1 fish and 2 hook pulls between them and think they were getting pi55ed off with our action compared to theres lol
Pics to follow but computer being retarded atm and Spoony pics will be on WBM facebook gallery as well. He even managed to bag on and land it on his own when i was getting a lift back to Southam to get the mrs car. Fair play to him and he already got the fishing bug
