2013 Catch Results

Well done on the catches.. still waiting on my first fish this year...

Fished a very cold Drayton yesterday. Managed 2 and lots 1 at range from the dam wall. Better than a day at work.

Better than blanking to mate.

Took at advantage of the nice weather yesterday and had a day at Drayton and suprisingly found it hard going. Couldnt buy a bit until mod afternoon when i changed to fishing zigs 3 foot off the bottom and managed to land a mirror of just over 12lb.

Fished saturday in warm conditions, had 7 runs 6 Carp fishing off the sailing club boards at Drayton.

11 and a half hours, 4 swims, for 1 pound and a half Bream. Beautiful day though spring is on the way. Found a few clear spots and learnt a couple of things so day wasnt wasted. Judging by how the Bream was hooked my new rig set-up seem to be alright to.

Had a long hard day at Stockton Resse today. Wind changing direstion every half hour. Changed swim half way through the day and tactic and fished zigs underneath a soupy spod mix to cloud the water. Missed 1, lost 1 and landed 1 around 7lb. All runs were between 3.30 and 4.15. 2 other Carp caught on the lake by the other 3 anglers fishing between 3 and 4. Never tried this method before and im sure its going to be 1 im going to use again.
