Barbless Hooks ONLY. No keepnets. Bloodworm/joker, boilies, nuts & pellets are banned. No Night Fishing

Going for a walk up there this morning to have a word with the baliff a look at the rules and see wheres fishing the best at the moment.

Warren Pool is closed all weekend due to matches And pegs 1-25 on Lambsdown Lake Also havce a match which is the pegs on the entrance road bank so social changed lake to Lambsdown maybe on the bank between the 2 lakes or the far side. <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: --> Gonna be there with Pedro from 7am anyway so we wont be hard to find

Fishery Rules..
No fireline or braid
Barbless hooks no bigger than size8 (they do check)
No cat meat except on hook
No tins all must be emptyed in car park and tins thrown in bin
No Litter
No Keepnets
Elasticated feeder, leads, candles etc ARE allowed

According to this weather report it gonna be wet with a strong south westerly. If we fish the bank between the 2 lakes then we gonna have the wind in our face so proberly best to go to the far bank where theres trees and a bit of cover.
Should be a good day with hopefully a few carp.

Fair play Davecarp for coming down for a while

After waking up on the sofa at half 4 after a few 2 many pints of pop on friday night:oops: i slept through my alarm and woke up at half 7:oops: Rang Pedro which woke him up on his sofa and got sorted out. Got there around 9ish and after a word with the baliff and seeing no-one there apart from the match on the lambsdown lake we were told Warren was open except for peg 14 so headed there as it was much more sheltered with the strong wind and driving rain
We chose pegs 26 and 27 under some trees and out the wind. I spent 3/4 hour trying to find some gravel or hard bottom as there was leaves all over the bottom. Found a spot at about 30 yards and spodded out a few spods on top of it of pellets and corn and did the same over on of pedros rods. Out of no where around half 12 Pedros left hand rod went screaming of and a couple of minutes later he landed a 8lb mirror, a lean skinny one which took a tigernut boilie topped with a piece of corn.
With only a couple of beeps on my spodded rod and nothing on zigs at 2 foot then later 5 foot i moved the zig rod and re-set up in the margins with a mis-shapen piece of luncheon meat on top of a bed of corn, pellet and a bit of particle mix. A few fish started showing close in and just as pedro said lets pack up and we stood up at about 4pm my margin rod went screaming off. After a few minutes battle we slipped the net under a 13 and half mirror. Just as i was fearing a hat-trick of filling out the blankaty blank section
Will get the pictures up next time im at my parents house.
