HOW FAR CAN YOU CAST ??????

random question

I can get 140 yards with my 3lb TC rods using a 2.5oz distance lead and 10lb mainline with a tapered shockleader.

I can get 80 yards with my 2.5TC rods and a method feeder.

I can get 200 yards plus if I crack a lead off on the cast.....

i normally use my boat if its over 100yrds lol sorry to be of no use

Reckon i can hit 120 yards pretty accuratly with my Prod SX's in 2 3/4 test curve.

With my rods and reels think i can get around 130 yards but thats really putting my back into it.

i havnt got a clue none of the lakes i fish require long range work.i no for a fact i can reach 90 yards tho because i sometimes fish the back of the island at barston and says on there website its 90 yards lol

the otherside of the lake...!!! not sure really, 100+ with my set up no problem, but very rarely cast that far, unless its to a island or feature.

havent really tried to find out. 99% of my carping done at smaller venues where you dont have to cast at distance and if you do its likely your in someone elses swim. at a guess would say can hit about 100 yards.
