Tried 3 rods once and didnt really know what to do with my 3rd rod. Used it as a roving rod until i found the carp using small pva bag and trimmed down boilies. Couldnt really handle the playing of the carp to keep it away from my other 2 rods. Also have had a double take a few times over the years using 2 rods and just about coped. Imagine 3 rods and 3 runs at the smae time, just dont have enough arms.
After getting a brucey bonus january sale and getting 3 wireless bite alarms and with my job not going to have as much time this year on the banks as last have come to the executive desition to fish 3 rods this year come 1st April and get 2 licences and retract this former post, learn to handle it and maximise my chances on the bank when i do get on there. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt="

2 rods everytime. easier to concentrate on 2 imo. never tried 3 rods but think i would struggle. fish 1 rod on a baited spot and 1 either close by it or in the margins
stickin to my previous post still and dont think will ever fish 3 rods
