Signs of Autumn

To follow up the signs of spring topic earlier in the year thought i would start this one and upset everyone that winter is just around the corner On the flip side get fishing NOW because the carp are piling the weight on ready for the cold season.
I will start with the leaves are changing colour already and falling of the trees.
Theres alot less moths aroundwhen driving at night.
Its dark at night now about 8pm.

I'm starting to think only about pike! Last carp session of the year next week on spring pools.

it must be autumn because ive seen a christmas tree in the barcelo hotel in daventry already. 300 yards from Drayton resi lol.

The howling winds yesterday, gusts upto 35mph!!

The Horse Martins at work seem to have disappeared from work today so must have started their long journey south......

Dark by 7.30pm tonight. Some trees are nearly bare of leaves already.

Dark by about 6pm now and saw my first flock of Redwings and Fieldfares yesterday that means that winter is definatly here now.
