Welcome to the site Jack.
Im like you and new to carp fishing. From my short time i have been on here i have seen what a good bunch of lads use the site and am learning as i go. Plenty to read about on here and worth scralling through the site including old pages to pick up tips. Dont be afraid to ask anything no matter how stupid you think it is. Think that i have asked silly questions but never been put down because im a newbie.

I was on Carp forum for a short while, the only problem I had was the sheer size of it and the absolutely huge variety of opinions that were almost forced upon any unsuspecting new angler who dared to even ask a question. That said there are two very good anglers on there who know their stuff. One is Keith Moors (Moorsey) Inventor of the Keith Moors knot for leadcore leaders and the other one is Pete Rothery (Frothy) crammed full of great advice and its all from experience. I know them from different websites

well tbh i dont use carp forum any longer, i use this all the time because everybody seem to be pritty cool
