Chub

Just been on the river in Long Itchington for a couple of hours the water was crystal clear so i wasn't very optimistic but managed to get a couple of decent chub feeding in my swim and after a couple of chucks managed to hook this little beauty! Caught on a single piece of sweetcorn float fished on the bottom. Not a monster but it put a nice bend in the rod, planning on going back tonight to see if i can get another one out.

Nice fish Lizard fair play. Gonna have to go up there again soon and give it another bash. The roach in there are beauties as well and cant beleive the fish go that big in such a small river. Heres the one you had out in march just before the close season the last time i went with you....

Fair play pal they do my head in in the winter up the lias but they but they nice fish for such a small river.

Discovery shed at 11pm to night is Predators where they are trying to catch winter chub on spinners. Should be worth a watch

Does anyone know any rivers where theres the chance of a 5lb Chub this winter?
