Got a new car and its spotless. Planning on fishing Bishops Bowls alot this year which means the possiblity of mud and lots of it. Not worried about the outside of the car as its easy to clean but what does everyone use to protect the inside of the car? Got a sheet in the boot to stop it getting covered in mud but need a few ideas for protecting the seats from the mud off my rod bag.
Cheers lads. ;)

old bed sheets over your seats mate, not 100% protection but makes a difference and they are washable :P

I think Halfords do a full seat waterproof/pet proof cover, should be ok for the front seats, and Pets at home do a rear seat/boot type cover. Failing that, for short term usage try one of the tarpaulin covers used for covering trailers and stuff like that. I stretch a bungee strap between the headrests of the front seats so my rods dont touch the hand brake and interfere with the gear stick.

cheap option the bed sheets but matts idea is alot better as would completely cover the sheets.

for the footwell a thick layer of paper will protect it from your boots and have a change of shoes in the car.

You can use lining too instead of bedsheets, its alot thicker (normally used as dust sheets by painters etc) and can be pretty cheap
