Doing my head in using my head torch as a bivvy lamp when snuggled up in my sleeping bag. Looking for a lamp that doesnt drain the batteries quickly but is bright enough to light up my bivvy.
Any ideas please?

Ive got a wind up job from go outdoors.
I paid about £20 for it and it does the trick.

Was a recommendation on another forum to. May have to head down there.

i use UCO Candle Lanterns that last 9 hours burning time.. just gives off a nice light and also a little heat..

i use a small 12v battery. i got a 15 watt 12v bulb from camping shop and attached crocodile clips to other end battery lasts for ages before it needs recharging and gives ample light when hung from my bivvy
