Chorizo draws a blank

I did 12 hours last sat night (in the thunder storms and real heavy rain) and when I got there no one had had a carp all day just bream. I put chorizo out on one rod and Chilly spam on the other.

At 2 o’clock in the morning I took my rods out because the amount of runs I kept getting (carp only no bream bites) on the chilly spam. I was soaked playing late doubles in rain like that, is not fun.
Any way 7 carp were caught on the lake while I was there and 6 of them were on my chilly spam with a yellow corn stop and none to my left rod chorizo. Smallest 11lb biggest 17.5lb I left tried and wet. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Next time I'm trying peri-peri Spam on the other Rod see how that goes

Interesting post mate. Thought chorizo would do alright. Never given it a go myself yet and this has put me off trying it a bit.

It is a no boilies lake so pellet gets smashed on there, so I wanted to hit it with a different angle. It was the 1st time I had used Chilly spam or Chorizo.

I won’t go fishing again without pre made chilly spam again that’s for sure
