Zig Foam better than Pop-ups was created by Gavfish
Got myself some different colour zig foam from black through to yellow. I have never used it before and was wondering if anyone has. Is it better than pop-ups for zigs and chods in your experience.

I used it last year mate I liked the black and White foam best used together and the White used as a kinda site stop
Did the damage and that's all that matters

wudnt say 1 is better than the other but if your wanting your rig out in the water for hours on end but foam will stay popped up for days longer than any pop-up. ;)

always use rig foam or plastic corn you can squash the foam with forcips in your chosen glug gives a bit of added attraction

been experimenting with both up at Drayton, foam all the way for me, less re-baitin of hook so quicker casting hook spends more time in water resulting in more fish ;)

I prefer foam too, I normally start off with black and will change to brown or yellow at a push. I got some wonderful &quot;lures&quot; from a company called flashattack basically they are foam criters spiders, ladybirds, grasshoppers etc Ive had a few takes on the lady bird ones too.

yeah seen the bugs but never tried them, gonna stick to foam as i'm doing so well using it. The fox zig aliners are great for this type of fishing.
