November catch results 2010

Lets get catching

Done a day session on a windy Drayton yesterday for 2 doubles. Carp seem to be holding in middle of the lake at present and this is where i had mine from.

Been prebaiting on the river severn.

First session last night and blanked.

Fished Blue Lias (Stockton Resse) yesterday with a mate. Out of 6 anglers i was the only one to catch albeit after moving to a different part of the lake after hours without a touch. 5 minutes after casting had this little chap on CC Moore Live System 14mm boilie.<!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Had another 2 runs after casting both rods onto the spot where i had the first fish but hook pulled on both:oops: Better than a blank though

Me and Troty fished Stockton Resse on sunday. Troty got up late so didnt get there until about 10am. I started at 6.30am on peg 57. Had 2 mirrors around 7lb by the time Troty got there. I was encrouched by a few other anglers (who didnt catch) so when he arrived we moved onto the boards on peg 8 and 9. I put a bait to roundabouts where i was fishing on the other peg and lost another 2 by midday. Managed another 2 mirrors and a common before dark and when bringing rod in i foul hooked a little common just before we went. Couple of lads on pegs 44 and 45 managed to bag a few during the day but dont think there was much else out in the rest of the lake. Troty lost one and was gutted.

Done Bishops Bowls last night 1pm til 12pm today. Fished peg 15 listening to Shawns (the baliff) advice and fished a bright pop-up over a dozen or so boilies against the cliffs and managed 1 at 11lb 10oz on a chod rig. Its incredibly muddy on the track round to pegs 14 and 15. Had lake to myself apart from 2 people pike fishing today. One of them had a 13lb and 8lb pike on deadbaits in the margins from peg 4.

Will get pic up tomorrow. It was a few scales off being a linear.

Back to work wednesday after a couple of weeks of so gonna try squeeze in another day on the banks.

Quality Gav good work down the bowls, I spoke to liddy the other day and he said he's been down there a few times sinces its been sorted out and bagged a couple. Yeah a blank down the lias was a terrible thing, but ive got the cold wether to blame..and you were lucky!!!
