Had 2 and lost 1 on a tough day at Bishops Bowls Mitre Pool yesterday on my first outing using Natures Baits Alpha boilies. 11lb 15oz and 15lb 1oz, look out for new blog on the session coming soon.

Lost 1 and landed one yesterday on Natures Baits Alpha boilies 12lb 14oz.
Had 3 takes on my first lure fishing trip since last winter for 3 1/2 hours today which resulted in 2 Perch and a Pike which looked like it had been attacked by a bigger Pike with teeth marks in its belly.

Did 2 hours on Napton Resse lure fishing for 3 small Perch, I then went into Warwick and fished the River Avon. My first session on running water for over 18 months for 2 small Pike.

Few hours up Napton Reservoir this afternoon. Caught 4 Perch with this being the largest and the first of the day.
Moved onto bigger lures to try and catch a Pike and struggled but the last swim of the session produced my biggest Pike of the season of about 2lb.
