Whats more important?

Quality of bait selection or presentation of rig in your opinion and why?

Mine would be rig presentation because we all know carp will eat alot of different baits so in my opinion you need the right rig to present the hookbait. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt="" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: -->

both to a certain degree, but if i had to choose it would have to be presentation of the rig.
Anyone can buy good bait and it don't take long for you to know feeding patterns.
But making a bullet proof rig that your 100% happy with is a different ball game.

the rig for sure, no good having the best bait in the world, if the rig is wrapped up like a birds nest.so i always use a rig that i know will be as i want it, regardless if its been cast or boated out.

Good point pal. If their not there they arent going to take your bait especially over the colder months when the carp dont move so much and arent looking for the bait.
