Cold snap gonna kill it?

BUMP!!

Temeratures falling alot last couple of days after the Indian Autumn, is this going to kill the carp fishing for the year? Already got my Pike gear dusted off and wondering whats everyone views, is it time to concentrate on the predators for the winter now and is the Carp fishing about to start geting very difficult?

still a month of good carp fishing i'd imagine, it's been quite mild almost warm this evening down by the lake i was at. Carp were still showing signs of activity, but who am I to discourage a good bit of predator angling!

Stick on the carp Gav. They going to keep feeding into November to get their weight up for winter.

Would have had a day out on the banks today but had to wait in for the eletrition for my day off.
Off on wednesday and weather staying mild so heading out carping but got the Pike gear ready just incase.

I'm thinking about heading up to bishops on wednesday myself.

I always fish one rod for Carp and one rod for Pike at this time of year, that way I get the best of both worlds.

Not exactly cold today May have to get a couple of hours at Drayton this evening......

been for the day at bishops bowl and it was boiling in the sun this morning.

Did you do any good? Weather was very nice when i got up today but cooled off alot now.

lost one early on but i don't think it was anything of size, i fished the mitre pool. Gonna give it a shot tomorrow or friday again in a different spot and just stick with the deads.
