Ideas for spreading the word

also if you sell items to do with fishing on well known sites always throw a sly link to us into it at the bottom of the listing
as said posters around fisheries
b/cards to are an idea
but may be some competitions ie clothes etc etc would be worth emailing majour players and saying it an up and coming sitye would you contribute to prize draws if the winner writes full reviews etc

Had a prize of a t-shirt at last springs social but was was a bit of a letdown as only me and Pedro fished and Davecarp came down for a while to say hello. Did hammer down with rain all day though and it was the biggest fish that won the prize and i had it just as we were packing up. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Seems like the word is already spreading about the world of WBM then. 4 new members in last 4 days. <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> The more the merrier and already had feedback on a fishery that no-one else had posted on from a new memeber.

Couldnt of been very busy where i got the business cards from. Said it would be 3 weeks, then emailed me to say it would be on the 11th but have recieved them today. Simple design on them, easy to read with just the basic info. The website, what it is and my forum name. If anyone wants a few to hand out at their lake then pm me your address and will send you some.

Went to Banks and Burr this afternoon for a few bits and asked if i could leave 50 of the buiness cards in there. The lads say thats cool so hopefully get a few new members from it. Explained it was a non-profit website and they were cool with it.
Once get my car back will be heading to Lanes in Coventry and Baileys in Warwick to put 50 odd in each of them. Should get us a few new members.
