Always thought about doing field testing but thought i dont fish enough big fish waters to be able to do it.

Its worth trying though just for the 40% off the bait.

I got roped into the field testing lark about 8 years ago. My army pairs Carp championships partner decided to list me and him as field testers, anyway to cut a long story short we ended up with about 30 kilos of frozen bait delivered to Suffolk water park at the start of a 48 hr competition in the heat of summer. The stuff absolutely stunk and our bivvies stunk like cat sick for months afterwards <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt="" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x --> . We ended up giving over half of it away to some of the other army lads.

Also the bait company will expect you to buy a large amount per month (even with a nice size discount)and write reports on it for each individual venue you fish at.
