HAS ANYONE GOT ANY TIPS FOR CATCHING 10LB+ CARP??

IM OFF FISHING THIS WEEK YET AGAIN TO TRY AN LAND MY FIRST 10LB CARP AND HOPEFULLY BIGGER MY PB HAS SLOWLY GONE UP FROM 6LB TO 6LB 7OZ AND UP UNTIL TWO WEEKS AGO WAS A NICE 7LB 5OZ AND IT NOW STANDS AN 8LB'S TWO IN ONE DAY A NICE SHINNY MIRRIOR AND A GLORIOUS COMMON. SO PLEASE DROP ME YOUR HINTS AND TIPS TO HELP ME GET THEM BIGGER CARP

Where do you go fishing and whats it like? Can try and help you better if i konw the venue
If close to Stockton, Clattercote, Boddington or Drayton then head up there. There are thousands of double figure fish in there for the catching. <!-- s:!: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_exclaim.gif" alt="" title="Exclamation" /><!-- s:!: -->

Agreed with Gav, you got to first choose a venue with a large amount of double figure carp as a starting point then take it from there about baits and presentation

well the day a bit quiet then the alarm went screaming off and resulted in a new PB of 9LB's 6OZ and was pretty happy with myself so i rebaited and recast with a PVA stick with 4mm pellets in and once again after about 10 mins i landed my new PB of 11LB's 3OZ.

Now im looking forward to beating that and getting into the 20's
