This page prefers to use a bit of shrink tube instead of a ring
Heres a video of how to tie it with a ring.

Is there anyone that ties their own and uses this rig but has another way of doing it? First hand experience and all that.

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

Just saw in a mag someone using it saying how they line the shrink tube up with the hook end etc feel like writing in as I was thought to do it that way when I started

good to look from you.Let make it.bencarp16 wrote: To be honest i have never tried it. Have just stuck to the KD and using the knotless knot with a tiny piece of shrink tube on the arch of the hook. Fishing Drayton nearly all the time i dont need to fish too complicated and keep it simple but may look into this rig to try and reduced the odd bumped fish on the take.
