springy line was created by argos starter matt
I filled my reels up the other day and the line on one of them comes off all springy but not on the other one. The line is the same the reels are the same, I put the spool in a bowl of warm water and wound it on under tension. I was thinking maybe because the second reel was filled with line that was underneath the first and because it was closer to the central core was wound in tighter coils? does that make sense. Im going up to the park later today and im going to walk it all out and wind it back on. I will probably look pretty silly but never mind eh.

Is it florocarbon line you are using? Reason i ask is because your right soaking the line in water if it is but it may have been worth soaking the line again before filling up the 2nd reel. The water may not have penetrated enough to soak the line underneath enough.
Best bet is to soak you spool of your reel in warm water then as you are going to do, walk out the line

yes its clear. Whats the name and make of the line? It should say on the spool it came from. If its Foxsoft steel camo then you may have a few problems with it <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="
