Use lead core? was created by hookpull
I stopped using it some years ago, due to various reasons, 1 being how safe it was, but been looking at the Gardner lead clip lead core set up and it really is one of the safest set ups I've seen in a long time, so much so that I'll be giving it a go next time out.. will let you know how it goes.

I have been using ESP helicopter leadcore leaders for last 2 years and although if the line breaks the hook link will come away up the opposite end to the lead its still not 100% safe for the carp in my opinion. Will be interested to here your results with these.
