Gardner Tackle Suspender Surface Float

Never seen anything like it!!! Surely theres 1 member who has given it a go or seen it being used, im very interested to find out if its any good or not.

not realy new been out since late eightys, make your own brass float insert glued to lenght stiff rig tube pushed though poly ball just of centre, easy fix not any good in the wind blows the bait all over the place,used to make any lenght from 18inch to 3ft depending how far you wanted the bait away from the main body

What was it like for casting and was it possible to chuck it over a long distance?

always a bit of a problam at distance due to the rig end was always wrapping round the boom,solved by using sea line 40lb witch made the counter balancing tricky, used core solder for getting the rig to sit just right bait just tipping the water hook hanging above, weird when playing the fish as you had your hook lenght plus the main body with all the weight,some times can be anything from 3ft to 6ft good fun though.
