Welcome to the site mate.
First have a look through the forum for a few ideas pal.
Whereabouts you from? How far you willing to travel?
Im guessing that if back to the scence for first time in a while your after a few runs so somewhere thats teaming with carp would be Drayton Resse. £25 for the night but baliff usually lets you do around 36 hours. Around 12lb the average in there but carps mouths are quite damaged.
Give us a bit more info and will try get a few more venues for you to look at pal.

Season at Coombe Abbey worth ago if you after a serious challenge. carp to just over 30lb. £78 for the year but from what i heard its a couple of carp a month water. <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt="" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->
Barston at West Midlands Golf Club worth a shot. Tenner for the season ticket which is used to try and keep the chavs off then £15 per night. Lot of pasties but again carp to over 20lb but its runs and you need loads of bait.
having a look at Kingsbury Water Park for £80 a year may interest you to.

Barston could bve worth a shot then mate.
You cant night fish this fishery but its right on your door and could be worth a look for a day session to get back into the swing of things pal.
