Spawning reports

carp are seemingly gettin ready to spawn if not already done so. i dont believe in fishing for them when they are spawning and its also often a waste of money as they have other things on their mind lol

Anyone care to share where they know the carp have spawned or are spawning to keep the site updated?

Last week at Stockton Resse they were getting ready to spawn up there to.

makins, lake 1 i was on at the weekend is spawning at the moment, still a few coming out though.

how long do they spawn for?

Think they usually get it out their system in 2-3 days but im not sure.

They should be done by end of the month latest i would think.
Drayton carp are getting ready to spawn but not sure where they will be doing it this year with the water levels so low.

Drayton carp still seem full of spawn. According to the bloke who was locking up last night he says they are ready but need 3 or 4 days of very warm weather in a row to start. With the weather as it is at the moment the carp think about it then the weather and so the water temperature start to go down in temp which puts them off again.

Was told that they had spawned up there but looking at your photo in catch results that looks loaded with eggs............

Dont think the carp spawning there will make much of a catch difference down there to be honest. They still going to be able to bag at least a few out.
