No but i konw the bloke you mean. He had 26 in a day out of there a few weeks ago in freezing conditions. Rips it up on his own baits.
Heading up for a day session early doors 1 last time before spring finally arrives and i start putting some serious time on the canal.

Matches on the lake this coming weekend.
Saturday: Coventry DA pegs 1-10 on the boards.
Sunday: Birdingbury AC 1 to 12 on the boards and Bulkington AC pegs 52 to 63.

Just been up here to go fishing as the 2nd lake of the day and they are spawning here to. Only 2 anglers on the lake.
Match here this Saturday on the boards, pegs 1-25.

When asked by Brian the landlord from the Blue Lias for my day ticket fee he came round with a pair of binoculars. It appears that the Otters I spotted some week ago could still be there by findings of remains of Carp. If anyone spots them please phone the pub immediatly so Brian can confirm sightings.

won't go far while theres a food stock handy. 4 big carp found dead ottered at steetlys not looking good for them,enen the mink have gone,least they kept the rats down

A angler saw the a otter try and take a duck around 12 feet away and although I can't confirm I think I saw 1 between the second and third island but I was to slow getting the binoculars to confirm
It's bad news all round for Stockton Resse. May have a walk round with a pair of binoculars myself tomorrow lunch time before work.

Lake was very busy today, car park was full. Had a look up there and talked to a few anglers 3 of who said they were blanking. Good bit of bait going in there today so may have a go up there tomorrow for a few hours, maybe the amount of lines in the water pushed the Carp out into the middle of the lake.
