Good to see members getting into a few carp. Looks like they are on the move looking for food. :P

Done 6 hour middle of the day session down Drayton yesterday. Bagged 4 between 11lb and 12lb 8oz all at distance off the dam wall on floro pop-ups.
2 lads fishing near the sailing club where hauling them out whole time i was there, rekon they had at least 25 between them while i was there but no idea what they were using but shows the carp are starting to come onto the feed down there.

Cant post this in Gavfish v Budweed as he wasnt there today.
Hard day where i started at 8am and finished at 5.30pm. Fishing peg 53 on the same spot as monday on pop-up corn from Westen Baits im trying and the other rod as far as i could cast it on a pink mulberry floro pop-up on the chod. Had a run on the chod at about 9.30 am that lasted all of 10 seconds. That was it. 6 other anglers fishing all bar 2 gone home by 2.30. 1 of the blokes that stayed managed 2 from peg 59 near the 2nd island. After seeing carp topping in the distance and my mate fishing with me for the first time in 2 years decided to move down the lake to peg 42 at 3pm to try and get on the carp. Put the pop-up corn in the margins a peg along over a couple of handfuls of corn, chick peas and black eyed beans and one rod on the chod on the back of the far island. about 4pm the margin rod screamed off and after 5 or so minutes i landed this 13lb 8oz mirror.

2 trips, 2 carp, 2 mirrors both weighing 13lb 8oz on these new baits.

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

good drills Gav :D nice to see a few carp coming out at last. Even better to see them from the margins as well. Isnt it good when you catch on a new bait, gives you so much confidence in it. well done.
