2011 catch results

Cheers pal. Yeah it is. Only 2 carp i have caught in 2 trips this week on there have been this new bait so going to be getting a couple of kgs of the bottom baits to try out with the pop-ups over the top. Secret weapon for sunday me thinks.........

Nice one gav. The weather is looking alright for sunday it looks like its going to be mild.
But they are saying theres gonna be a sharp frost on friday night so hopefuly it doesn't kill it to much.

Nice carp that going to look even better if it reaches 20lb. Nice and dark which is suprising for British Waterways venue.

One of the nicest carp i have ever caught out of Stockton. Hopefully a few more like that come sunday.

Had 2 today both low double mirrors from a little pond i know in Matlock.
First one was off a zig rig 2 foot under the surface with a pink pop-up, second one was off the top on fake dog biscuits.
They really started feeding well as the light went my mate also had one off the top and nearly got another just before we left, nice to catch a couple but this place is really full of them but had a serious weed problem last year which seems to have had a big effect on the numbers in there.

Another day at Drayton yesterday. 4 carp between 10 and 13lbs and 2 hookpulls. All at about 75 yards on small PVA bags.

did a session at barston yesterday didnt get there untill 1 mind.had 4 carp biggest being a 12lb mirror all coming after 6 oclock after several hours without a sniff.felt sooo good tho first session since october.

Had a couple more doubles off the top the other day one lower double and one upper double both commons from grange pond.......

Just got back from a quick overnighter on rookery meadow. I had 5 fish to about 16lb including this one.
