The way things seem to go up Stockton. Its like the carp know that everyone seems to go home a few hours before dark and thats when the carp really have it up there.

Hit a wind swept Drayton yesterday afternoon for a few hours. Managed 7 runs and 6 carp to 14lb 13oz. taken over a spodded area with pigeon conditioner.

nice, where abouts were you fishing. Me and my mate had a walk round briefly yesterday early afternoonish. Talked to a couple of guys on the dam wall, one of which was quick to tell us about his 20lber he caught straight away... He had the smallest net and no unhooking mat so i feel slightly sorry for the 20lber.

But yea that wind was really hacking across drayton, can't believe anyone wanted to sit there on the dam wall.

It is, but then again i'm pretty sure at £10+ a head they don't really care. British waterways love the ££££
