2011 catch results

After an epic fail of not getting out of bed when my alarm went at 6am i arose at 11 and decided on a short afternoon session down Stockton Resse. After a walk round and someone in my beloved peg 53 decided for a change and fished the boards on peg 8. Fishing between the islands at about 50 yards. Was fishing by 1pm and first cast and 5 minutes i had a 10lb mirror. It went dead for an hour and then i landed a 7lb mirror. It again went dead for an hour. From 3 until 4.30 i had 11 runs and landed 8 of them. It then went dead again and i called it a day around 5pm.
Totaled 13 runs and 10 carp so not bad for a short session and going to head down the bowls next week on my day off.

nice going gav, made the best of the afternoon! I'm thinking bout heading out to the bowls for a days piking tomorrow or wednesday or both!

Got my Pike gear ready for the start of the pike season there next week. All i got to do is get myself some deadbaits....

If only you had said that last night I could of tagged your order onto mine and my mates from baitsdirect. I just ordered 22 quids worth of deads to stock up my freezer

If you and a friend or two order it certainly works out a hell of a lot cheaper when you split the delivery charge. had a couple of low doubles today from a local lake and 2 carp around 5-6lb. not bad after last weeks blank and last session im going to be able to get in for a few weeks.

Another 22lbs on the Bank.. Got this one on a single 10mm dumb bell topped of with pop up plastic corn..
