2012 Catch Results

Didnt really notice really mate. Didnt see anyone fishing with them but there was plenty of splashing around by the carp all afternoon but they were out towards the middle of the lake. Think the carp are already taking alot of angling pressure because of the weather warming up.

Fished from 1.30-7.30 today at Stockton Resse right up the top of the lake on peg 28. After a walk round had seen loads of carp basking in the warm shallow water. I fished 1 rod on the top 1 on the bottom. Caught 4 carp under 5lb off the bottom and lost 2 and landed 1 off the top. The 1 weighing in at 10lb 7oz. Made up for last week run in my new reels and was brilliant basking myself in the warm sunshine. Dont seem that long ago it was flipping freezing and short days. Bring on the summer.

Judging by the carp at Stockton i guess they will be on it to although they werent proper having it and disappeared from the surface quickly as it started to cool down.

Nice going Gav, I almost went up stockton on that day. Dusted off the carp gear and im heading for a couple of nights on my new bedchair this sunday.

Done 24hrs at milcombe and caught a 9lb mirror and a 19.2lb common my new pb caught on a 10mm cell dumbell with fake corn

Did 48Hrs on my new syndicate.. 3 fish netted & 3 lost to hook pulls (think the fish are not so confidant in picking up the bait at this venue so im going to try and shorten hair for next time) But Still a flying start..will leave these on for 1 week only as there is a media ban on the venue,,

Nice one mate. The 2nd fish looks like its got a broken spine or is slightly deformed but it seems to be doing fine.

Cheers...it was stocked like that @12lbs last year so its put on 4 lbs fast..

Why is that? Is it so it doesnt incourage poachers?
