2013 Catch Results

Had a few out on Friday including a repeat capture on Natures Baits Bloodworm X boilies. The 11lb 4oz Mirror that I caught on 22nd October fell to the same bait on the same spot. New blog to follow soon.

Caught 5 on Stockton reservior biggest 11lb 8oz so in all not a bad session.

Another 9 Carp yesterday fishing at distance iver a bed of boilies.

Done 4 hours lure fishing today on the Grand Union Canal and Napton Reservoir. After nothing for 3 hours on the canal the move onto the reservoir was the right call and after having a few Pike chase my lure I managed to land this little one but had a bad self take photo.

Had a great session on Monday at Stockton reservior I got there around 9:30 as I picked up my dad and mate on the way,the weather was pretty poor for the first few hours with a southerly wind and light drizzle that just ended up soaking everything it was quite slow with only a couple of carp caught in the first couple of hours but luckly improved by around 12:30 switched to a s/w wind and warmed up then the fishing went crazy. My dad fished match tequniques and was getting the odd rudd and roach however fishing boilies on the hair proved to be the best method of the day by far, ended on 20 carp between us smallest around 6lb and biggest 13lb 8oz. I had 11 runs 2 were double hook ups so my mate asssisted on 1 and my dad for the other, even had a treble hook up when both my rods went within 30 seconds of each other and my mates went straight after resulting in a trio of carp banked together hopefully be back out there Sunday however I will never forget that session. Another fantastic session at Stockton yesterday I had 13 carp from 7lb and a cracking common of 17lb 8oz in perfect condition my mate had 8 carp. Not everyone was doing as well as a few anglers on there blanked,cant wait to get chance to go again!

Great fishing Chris, not been Carping in 3 weeks myself but out on Thursday and and to start my winter canal campaign.
Did go out for an hour and a half before at dawn today before work at Napton Reservoir. After watching a Pike and a Perch chase my lure but not take it I caught 2 small Pike and a 3/4lb Perch. New blog coming this week will be a bit different on 3 short lure sessions.
