2013 Catch Results

Did 24 hours at lemington lakes last weekend had 2 carp 13:08 and 16:10. Fished stockton reservoir yesterday evening did 4 hours had 8 carp 8lb-15:10 and lost 2

Done 48hrs on bishops bowl grrenhills lake had 2 carp upto 13lb and a tench on chod rig, lost about 4 aswell

Well done mate Greenhills is a very hard water.
Had 1 lost 1 from Mitre Pool on Thursday and had 5 out of the Blue Lias Caravan park pond next day including a 19lb 2oz.

Done 7 hours surface fishing today on Stockton Resse and the Blue Lias caravan park pond. After spending 4 hours on the pond with not much luck, landing 2 small ones and losing 1 i headed to Stockton Resse and fished peg 22 then peg 63. Best I had was this 13lb 10oz Mirror ended up landing 6 today and losing 3.

Done a few hours at dawn on the canal last 2 mornings to. Couldnt get a bite yesterday then this morning had a double figure Common take the mick out of me for 2 hours this morning, taking every other bait but the hookbait. Got a feeling it was the same 1 i caught earlier in the year. The view this mornings view was awesome.

And beautiful at Stockton Resse tonight.

aint been out for weeks but will be this weekend

Problems with the car at 5am this morning cancelled plans to fish the Grand Union Canal this morning. Fished Blue Lias for a few hours in the day to miss 2 bites and lose a lower double figure Carp at the net. Fished for 2 hours into dark on the canal for 4 bream around the pound mark taking Natures Baits 20mm Bloodworm X boilies! Was going to stay a bit longer but the heavens opened. Possibly back on there in the morning.

Fished Drayton Reservoir for 5 3/4 hours in the wind and rain on Tuesday afternoon. The result 1 rod, 17 runs, 14 Carp, 13 doubles all caught on Natures Baits Bloodworm X boilies, caught 2 Commons as well which are very rare in there, about 1 in every 500 are Common Carp.

Headed up to Nell Bridge Fishery for the first time in over 2 years today. 18 previous sessions there had produced only 1 18lb Carp for me and lots of blanks. Today that all changed, 8 hour session and I had my first 20lb+ Common which also happened to be my new PB so im over the moon
24lber sat in my net.

The Carp in question all 24lb 1oz.

Also backed it up with this 18lb 13oz Common as I was packing up.
