Going up here in the next week/10 days. Is it still fishing as well as it has all summer? Only got one rod but at £8 for 1 rod thats enough anyway.

Yeah mate but the water level is still down.

Had my day at drayton today it didn`t go quite as well as we expected but still 21 doubles but it was hard work thought the surface fishing was going to be hectic but as soon as that breeze picked up it killed it on the surface ,had a few fish on zigs throughout the day ,then on the evening the wind dropped and started catching on the top again i know that sounds a bit sad saying only had 21 doubles but the last few times been down there had over 50 doubles but we are talking about drayton and it is a bit of a rarity to have a water with so many big fish you tend to take it for granted you are going to hammer it every time you go

sounds like you still made the best out of a slow day on the resse Dean, good job mate! The weather hasn't been ideal with this sudden burst of clear blue skies and warm sunshine. Not ideal for fishing anyway lol.
