Water level is very low, day tickets £12 2 rods £8 1 rod, gates open 7am and close at 7.30pm at the moment.

Even after all the recent rain the water level is still quite low. Still fishing well though. Anglers catching alot off the dam wall yesterday while I was there near the sailing club.

Fishing zigs seems to be the way forward on here at the moment with some awesome catches being caught. My mate had 22 yesterday on 6 foot zigs using a sloppy mix over the top. He lost a couple to and out caught everyone around him.

Had a walk along the dam wall yesterday afternoon and there were loads of Carp on the top so if your plannning a trip soon don't forget your chum mixers.

UPDATE for next year 2015
Great news, the work for the wide boards has gone out to tender, hopefully they will be done by April2015
The dam wall road surface is going to be done properly by March 2015, so no more pot holes.

drayton is getting a new road surface this week so all that are fishing this weekend are advised to take it slowly while driving along the dam wall.
