Crowded along the dam wall yesterday and alot of carp coming out. Looks like the Drayton Carp are starting to have it now. £12 for the day is alot but for the amount of Carp you haul its worth it. Going to try and get on there this thursday. :D

Jesus its up to 12 quid? I dunno theres other places you can go and haul the same ammount of fish with less people around in better surroundings. But it's pretty local to you so i guess its a decent option.

I just don't find it that attractive.

Had a good few mid double off the top and it is flipping mental once you get them going.
May have to head down there on my next sunday night off.

Dont drive but live in Dav so its not too hard to get a lift up and if all else fails could walk. Agreed it is over-priced but there are plenty of carp to fish for and until i start driving it will do for now. Was going to get on there today but decided against it so going to fishi Sunday evening and take a walk round there this evening.

Had a look up there this morning on the way to work. Lake looks more like the sea with huge waves blowing across it. Still a few anglers on there but im backing out of this afternoons planned trip. :(
Fish have spawned there now so bumper hauls should be back on. ;)

Carp coming off the top everyday up here now. Postiedean have you had a go at it yet this year?
Best bet is to get the wind on your back for it. ;)

Drayton still fishing very well, Carp coming from all over the lake including the far end as they pile the weight on for the winter. If heading there soon dont take buckets and buckets of bait like you would in the summer. A couple of kg of boilies should do you for a day session and you still will have some left. Heading there on monday for the day so will let you know how i do. ;)

Most carp now coming from open water off the dam wall or from the sailing club side of the lake. Small and often is what seems to be doing well now rather than piling the bait in. Fishing there on monday so going to take the baliffs advice that he gave me.
