Just watched the latest update on Drayton from Alex Knight and it seems the lads from Hinders were fishing the same day and caught a fair bit more lol

Didnt fish this weekend but did have a walk along the dam wall on saturday. Seems the carp are on the move in here now and plenty of Carp being caught including on floaters! 1 bloke i spoke to had took 14 off the top on chum mixer. Weather looking good thiw weekend and on there myself on wednesday. Is spring finally here?

Just seen this on Facebook.
3687lb 2oz of Carp were caught by Army Carpers in a 48 hour match at Drayton Reservoir recently

Get on the zigs at Drayton. Fish 10-15mm bright pop-ups or foam and fish a sloppy mix with coconut milk in the really cloud the water up. Fished at about 3/4 depths off the dam wall and you will be hauling!
On there again this week will let you know how i do.

Been up for a look a few times the last few days and from watch i have seen its the dam wall where more action seems to be coming from. Floating baits and zigs seem to be catching alot more than fishing the bottom.

The lake is still fishing well although i aint been for a while. I would get up there this month if you have not already this year, water levels quite low.

Has anyone fished Drayton Reservoir recently? What times do gates open? How much is a day ticket? May go tomorrow for a few hours after builders left my house.
