Bishop Bowl Lakes

Shawn has mentioned this to me recently. Is it with a BBQ pack as well? Sounded pretty good to me especially for relative begineers to the sport. Should be quite popular i would have thought.

Been fishing hard since winds changed last wednesday but 6 different 20s coming out in last 6 weeks and they should have had plenty of bait to go at as its been really busy last couple of weeks. Weston Baits Cream Nut boilies seem to be doing well at the moment.

Potentional (not offical) lake record caught out of the Mitre Pool this morning off peg 15. Havent seen the photo but another lad on the lake (peteMC from here) did and advised the bloke to send the photo to Shawn. Keep an eye on the Bowls website.

its official the new lake record is a common of 27 lb10 oz ive got the photo here but i am unsure how to post it ! the fish was caught on friday morning on peg 15 it was full of spawn on a pineapple bottom bait.its the 18th 20 out since the first week of march . the lake is hard at the moment but rewarding ,the best results last week was from pegs 8/9 when 2 guys had 18 runs in 24hrs and landing 9 fish all on weston baits bb1s bottom baits.

The NEW Mitre Pool record, all 27lb 10oz of it caught previously at 22lb and 25lb.

Anyone been up lately? Know how its fishing? Heading up around 6pm tomorrow for my first overnighter in a month after working far too much recently.

Got there tonight with the pouring rain, sat in the car for a minute and the heavens opened. After a small debate with myself i wimped out and decided to see whats happening with the weather in the morning.

Bit of time off work next week. Overnighter me thinks.....

Shawn is this unoffically the smallest carp in Mitre Pool. Weighed and photographed it. If it is the smallest will be interesting to see it grow over the years as the amount of food in there for her shes going to get big one day.
