Bishop Bowl Lakes

depending how the weather is i might head up aswell. I'm not doing anything in particular and it would be nice to see if a few pikers covering some water on there can haul some out.

first look at this site itroduced to it by gav.thanks to all the guys who have posted about bishops its great to read so much thats positive about the lakes ! The mud has been a night mare the last couple of months but when you get to the swims the bark seems to be holding out.Over the next few weeks we will put new pathways around the mitre and top up the bark (its difficult getting hold of enough at the moment).Last year flew by and its been great.we have stocked 189 carp to 21.12 inthe mitre and 240 pike to 14lb,greenhills has had 50 carp from 10-23.12 stocked the 23 and21 stocked last week are only 5 years old they should be 30s within 2 summers ,the other 24 that came on the same day were all doubles and only 4 years old so they too will grow fast!ill keep you all updated with whats going on in the future all the best Shaun

Never fished here but heard alot of good things about the fishery off this site so may have a day on there soon.

heading down to greenhills hopefully tomorrow, maybe catch a pike this time although the weather isn't on my side. I've got deadbaits to use up to make space in the freezer for boilies.

Budweed should be with me to if he braves the cold as it could put him off because of his dodgy back. Think that the carp is going to be the harder part of the day. Cold Northerly winds last few days that could put them off a bit. Going to be blumming freezing first thing in the morning.
